Aboussie Park is named for Martie "Murph" Aboussie, a longtime ninth-ward committee man. Located on South 13th Street between Lynch and Sidney, this is the smallest park in St. Louis City at just 0.40 acres. Don't look for playgrounds or sports fields, they aren't here -- just a small path to stroll down and a bench to sit at and relax to the sound of the outdoors.

Pontiac Square Park (pictured above) has 1.50 acres to its beauty. Located at South 10th Street and Ann, this park offers a beautiful garden area to stroll through, a playground area with swings and slides for your little ones, a spray pool during the summertime, and a softball field w/ backstop.

Soulard Dog Park Created in 2004 from a lot size of over ¾ acre, The John & Lucille Wendling Soulard Dog Park (pictured above) is one of the largest enclosed green spaces in the Old Frenchtown neighborhood where dogs and their owners can exercise safely in a fenced-in area.

Soulard Park has 1.94 acres located at South 7th Street and Lafayette, right next to Soulard Market. This park has a field to play softball and a playground area that you and your children could play at after shopping at the market.

Many People consider Lyon Park as one of the parks located in Soulard, but it is actually located in neighboring Kosciusko. Located across the street from Anheuser-Busch on the corner of South Broadway and Arsenal, this park offers 2 softball fields where summer slow-pitch softball leagues are played.

The beautiful flowers, plants, trees and shrubs that you see in many of the parks in Soulard have been planted by the Beautification Committee of the Soulard Restoration Group.
